RoboCop (2014)

In the near future, dedicated father, husband, and police officer Alex Murphy suffers terrible injuries in the line of duty. A robotics company named OmniCorp sees an opportunity to expand its overseas military technology to Detroit by putting Murphy through a life-saving procedure that turns him into a cyborg. The half-human/half-robot Murphy becomes a stoic defender of justice, although he slowly develops distrust for the dangerous corporation.
