In the grimy underbelly of society, Bobbie, a small-time thief and drug addict, botches a vending machine heist, sparking a chain of events that takes him into the gritty world of high-stakes crime. After his failed heist, Mel, a seasoned criminal with a soft spot for lost souls, is called to mend Bobbie's wounds.
