Returning from his education at Nalanda, Ajay Kumar Saxena steps into an unexpected whirlwind of life as he takes up the role of a teacher. His class is a vibrant mix of spirited students, including the fiercely intelligent Jaya, who harbors a secret affection for him. Yet, his heart is captivated by a different woman - Saraswati, a modest beauty from a local orphanage.
