In the tranquil backdrop of suburbia, David Rose, a paragon of virtue, operates a thriving garden center and ardently cherishes his role as a family man. His dutiful wife Ivy, who has undergone the agony of two lost pregnancies, finds an empathetic companion in their enigmatic neighbor Melinda, who is on the brink of motherhood. Having just introduced her to the intricate corners of their home, a sudden void engulfs their lives when Melinda mysteriously vanishes. Despite the absence of a body and only the presence of questionable evidence that seems more carefully positioned than carelessly overlooked, the unyielding Detective Blanchard pinpoints David as the prime suspect.
