Plot

Jimmie Rainwood, an unassuming man, sees his life spiral into chaos as two corrupt cops, driven by a grave error in address, breach the tranquility of his home. Anticipating a haven of illicit drugs, they instead encounter an innocent man. Panicking, they plant a gun in Rainwood's hand and sprinkle his house with drugs, shrouding him in a cloak of criminality. Their testimony, combined with Rainwood's past indiscretions manipulated by the prosecution, paints a damning image. Rainwood is convicted and sentenced to six years in prison, a victim of perjured evidence and police deceit. Thrust into the gritty world of prison life, Rainwood finds himself ensnared in a dangerous game of survival, a far cry from his former life. His path collides with that of a sadistic con, who fixates on Rainwood as his next prey. Aided by Virgil, a fellow inmate framed by the same cops, Rainwood must confront the predator before he becomes his victim. Halfway through his sentence, Rainwood is paroled, scarred but determined to reclaim his life. His return, however, sends tremors of fear through the corrupt cops who once framed him. Their veiled threats serve only to ignite Rainwood's resolve to seek justice. Teaming up with Virgil, Rainwood embarks on a mission to expose the truth, navigating a world where innocence is lost, and redemption is a battle fought in the shadows. An Innocent Man is a gripping tale of survival, retribution, and the relentless pursuit of justice.
