Plot

In the lively whirlwind of "All's Well, Ends Well '97", we meet Lo King, a charming playboy tethered to the fortunes of his elder brothers, Lo Leung and Lo Fei. Orchestrating an elaborate ruse, Lo King feigns mental illness, hoping to secure his brothers' shared wealth. Lo Leung, a consummate businessman, is on the brink of opening his own restaurant. Yet, his ceaseless dedication to work teeters his relationship with his wife on the edge of uncertainty. Simultaneously, Lo Fei, a scholar with a penchant for mischief, brings home Shenny, a girl entangled in financial woes. He anticipates his father's disdain for Shenny will be so severe that it will allow him to marry his unconventional girlfriend, who his father profoundly disapproves of. However, Fei's plan takes an unexpected turn when Shenny, oblivious to the scheme, begins to harbor feelings for him. The intertwining lives of the Lo brothers form a compelling tapestry of humor, romance, and familial tension, making "All's Well, Ends Well '97" a cinematic delight.
