In the bustling marriage registrar's office of Dariyaganj, Delhi, Ankush Ramdev has carved out a peculiar profession for himself. For a modest fee of Rs.200, he stands as a witness to the love stories of countless couples, their promises of forever echoing in his ears. Life, for Ankush, is a constant parade of strangers and fleeting connections until he stumbles upon Megha Joshi, a lone woman from Nainital, waiting for her groom-to-be. Megha is hopeful, her eyes anxiously scanning the crowd for Dheeraj Ansaria, her love. As hours turn into a day and Dheeraj remains absent, a bond of sympathy weaves itself between the abandoned bride and the professional witness.
