Derek Lee and Clif Prowse, two Canadian best friends, stand on the precipice of the unknown, leaving behind their mundane jobs to embark on a globe-trotting adventure. Derek, living under the shadow of a life-threatening aneurysm, wants nothing more than to seize every moment. Their journey begins in vibrant Barcelona, where they cross paths with musician friends and collectively set a course for Paris, the city of lights pulsating with a concert they've planned. In Paris, the introverted Derek encounters the enigmatic Audrey.
