Plot
As the world teeters on the brink of a chilling disaster, Dr. David Kotzman, a seasoned climatologist at INTER SCI, stumbles upon terrifying evidence. He discovers that a sudden shift in Earth's polarity, the very phenomenon that triggered the last Ice Age, is happening once again, and it's unfolding at a deadly rate. There's no time to escape as the temperature starts a merciless nosedive, threatening to plunge the planet into an unfathomable cold.
The sunny city of Miami is the first to feel nature's icy wrath. What was once a tropical paradise is transformed into a frozen nightmare, as relentless snow and ice bombard the city, turning its bustling streets into frozen wastelands. Evacuation routes are clogged with panicked residents, making escape a bleak prospect.
In the midst of this icy chaos, David reunites with Bryn, his old flame, and a handful of other survivors. Their only hope for survival is a specialized chamber within the INTER SCI facility, designed to withstand this cataclysmic freeze. As the world around them descends into a frozen hellscape, a desperate and thrilling race for survival is set into motion.
The temperature continues to plummet, nearing the unthinkable -459.67° F, the absolute zero - a temperature so extreme that energy and light cease to exist. As they fight against time and nature's unyielding fury, will David, Bryn, and their group find salvation in the icy jaws of the planet's new Ice Age?
