Aagey Se Right (2009)

In a whirlpool of hilarious misadventures, Dinkar Waghmare, a chronic underachiever obsessed with TV Reporter Soniya Bhatt, is forced by his zealous mother, Kanta, to join the ranks of the Mumbai Police Force. He is following in the footsteps of his late father, but Dinkar's journey is far from traditional. En-route to Mumbai, his service revolver is cunningly pilfered by three audacious youths, catapulting him into a world of comedic chaos. His relentless pursuit to retrieve his stolen weapon inadvertently entangles him with a colorful cast of characters and situations, each more absurd than the last. He finds himself in the secret lair of the notorious underworld kingpin, Raghav Shetty, and cross paths with Suhasi, the despondent daughter of Police Commissioner Digvijay Mathur, contemplating her own demise. His path also intersects with an irate resident, Hasmukh Irani, who is on a mission to assassinate the Mayor, and a love-struck terrorist, Balma Rashidul Khairi, tasked with an explosive mission involving an 1800-plus congregation of Mumbai's finest cops. "Aagey Se Right" is a deliriously funny roller coaster ride through the unpredictable streets of Mumbai, where the gravity of duty and the absurdity of life merge in surprising, entertaining ways.
