In the shadowy underbelly of a seemingly ordinary city, a child named Clara mysteriously vanishes from her daycare. Her distraught mother Sylvia, consumed by fear and confusion, reports the chilling incident to the police. As the chief inspector delves into the case, he uncovers a curious tapestry woven by a low-middle class couple - Sylvia and her husband Bernardo. Bernardo, an enforcer in a bus company, and Sylvia, lead a life devoid of riches, a detail that casts doubt on the motive for their daughter's abduction. The plot thickens when the daycare owner reveals a peculiar phone call she received from Sylvia, instructing her to hand Clara over to a familiar neighbor. As the web of deception starts to unravel, Bernardo's finger points towards Rosa, a twenty-two-year-old woman entangled in a clandestine love affair with him. As Rosa is hauled into the cold interrogation room, she spins a tale of her own, claiming a mysterious woman coerced her into the abduction. With every passing moment, the interrogation room becomes a stage for the unfolding of a dark narrative laced with betrayal, jealousy, and revenge.
