On a crisp December day in 1903, in the quaint town of Cutter Springs, New York, the world is humming with the ideas of Charles Whitley - a relentless inventor and businessman. His life, however, is disrupted by a brewing conflict with his fiancée, Eliza Parker, who feels overshadowed by Charles’ futuristic ambitions. Only Rosie, their truth-speaking housekeeper, sees the dissonance in their pairing. Amidst the turmoil, Charles finds solace in a Christmas gift for Eliza - an antique clock, believed to guide one to true love under the Christmas moon. A sudden fainting spell later, Charles wakes to a world unrecognizable. His mansion is filled with strangers, who eerily resemble his acquaintances, but are not. Eliza, Rosie, and his butler Fredricks have morphed into an ensemble of actors - Dan and Amber, and Megan Turner, none other than Rosie's great-granddaughter and the curator of the now-transformed Whitley Mansion into a museum. As Charles grapples with the startling revelation of his leap into the year 2020, Megan, armed with her extensive research on Charles' life, discerns the truth - that Charles is not a mere actor, but the long-lost inventor who mysteriously vanished in 1903. As they strive to keep Charles' identity hidden, a pressing quest ensues - finding a way to return Charles to his time. Their journey leads them to the antique Christmas clock, now lost, believed to be a portal back to his era on Christmas Eve. However, as the clock ticks, emotions stir, and Megan and Charles find themselves drawn to each other. Charles must grapple with his growing feelings for Megan, and the revelations about Eliza’s fate, as he decides whether to return to his past or embrace an unforeseen future.
