In the mystical city of Baghdad, Aldin, a humble water vendor, stumbles upon a slave auction and is instantly smitten by Miriam, a radiant woman in chains. Rescuing her from the cruel hands of fate, their hearts intertwine in an impassioned romantic tryst. However, their blossoming love is brutally interrupted by a nefarious sheriff who arrests Aldin, claiming Miriam as his own.
Surviving a gruesome stretch of torture, Aldin escapes, only to be met with the heartrending sight of his beloved Miriam on death's door, succumbing to childbirth. Crushed and desolate, Aldin flees the city, embarking on a series of harrowing and eccentric adventures. He stumbles upon the secret cave of Ali Baba, brimming with untold riches, where he allies with a fiery, revenge-driven outlaw. He washes ashore on a bizarre island teeming with lustful, uninhibited women, narrowly escapes a monstrous, carnivorous beast, and stumbles upon an enchanted ship, helmed by a genie capable of fulfilling the wildest of wishes.
Years pass and a hardened, embittered Aldin returns to Baghdad, his heart set on claiming the throne and wedding the princess. But whispers of the princess being his illegitimate offspring cloud his intent with uncertainty. Despite the meddling assistance from a pair of enigmatic shapeshifters, Aldin's quest for power and love veers off his meticulously drawn plans. As the tale unfolds, the audience is left to wonder whether Aldin will rise as the new king or succumb to the twisted ironies of fate.
