In the hallowed halls of the Royal Ortigia Magic Academy, teeters Alto, a young magician grappling with the precipice of failure in his summoning magic class. On the verge of repeating a year, destiny intervenes when he discovers an ancient grimoire. With a hastily drawn magic circle, he inadvertently summons the formidable demon Vermeil, binding her as his familiar. Veiled in ancient lore as a malevolent "devil", Vermeil wields an extraordinary might that can unleash devastating disasters. Yet, as Alto's familiar, her power is tethered to his magic, a precarious connection maintained through their fervent kisses, much to the shock of his peers.
