Tokyo ESP (2014)

In the vibrant heart of Tokyo, Rinka Urushiba, a humble waitress working part-time to assist her unemployed father, leads an ordinary life. However, the mundane rhythm of her existence is disrupted when she chases a mysteriously flying penguin to the summit of a skyscraper, plunging her into a world of surreal phenomena. Here, she encounters floating goldfish and a fellow classmate, Kyoutarou Azuma, who shares her ability to perceive these extraordinary occurrences. Her life takes an even more bizarre turn when a goldfish phases through her, bestowing her with the startling ability to move her body through solid matter. A peculiar side effect of using her newfound power turns her hair snow-white, leading to her nickname, the "White Girl." Alongside Kyoutarou, whose own power of teleportation is revealed, Rinka reluctantly embraces her role as Tokyo's fresh-faced heroine. Rinka and Kyoutarou form the heart of an ensemble of teenagers, each gifted with awe-inspiring abilities. Yet, the emergence of these powers comes with a price - a dramatic alteration to their physical appearances. From Rinka's white hair to Kyoutarou's vanishing acts, their superhuman skills make them stand out in a city striving to find its balance amidst the chaos. As they navigate their way through this newfound reality, they attract other good-hearted espers and embark on a mission to restore Tokyo to its former glory. Together, they face off against malevolent espers who seek to exploit their powers for darker purposes. With Rinka at the helm, this group of extraordinary teenagers attempts to reclaim their city from the brink of anarchy, serving as beacons of hope in a world turned upside down.
