Plot

In the heart of a Joseon era teetering on the precipice of turmoil, a young man named Park Dal Hyan, born of humble roots, yearns to ascend the ranks to become a royal guard. Driven by the spark of his first love, Yoon Seo, he embarks on a grueling journey to the bustling capital to endure the military examination. Along the serpentine path of his odyssey, he crosses destinies with three enigmatic warriors, the self-proclaimed 'Three Musketeers.' These seasoned soldiers, shrouded in mystery, warn Park Dal Hyan of a twisted love triangle. His beloved Yoon Seo is now entwined in a royal marriage with the Crown Prince Sohyeon, and any lingering affection could be seen as a dangerous act of treason, invoking the wrath of the volatile prince. Their advice to the aspiring soldier is clear: loyalty to the kingdom must triumph over personal desires, and his proof lies in conquering the examination. As Park Dal Hyan's journey nears its climax, he uncovers a startling revelation. The Crown Prince, the man at the center of his heartache, was one of the 'Three Musketeers.' They had been pulling the strings, testing him at every turn. This realization ignites a new chapter in their intertwined lives, as they are drawn into a whirlwind of adventures. Together, they must navigate the treacherous waters of a kingdom ruled by a weak king and a relentless Quing dynasty seeking to bring it to its knees.
