Plot

In the heart of Denmark stands The Kingdom, a towering monument of modern medicine, radiating the brilliance of state-of-the-art technology. Yet beneath its shimmering veneer lurks a mysterious realm where science and the supernatural collide. Unearthly phenomena begin to eat away at the hospital staff's unwavering faith in empirical knowledge. A spectral ambulance haunts their nights, vanishing as mysteriously as it arrives, while disembodied voices echo ominously in the elevator shaft. A pregnant doctor, curiously, witnesses her unborn child accelerating through growth at an unnaturally rapid pace. Our journey into the uncanny begins with the birth of "Little Brother", the offspring of the nurse, Judith, and the sinister murderer, Aage Kroeger. Meanwhile, the enigmatic Doctor Helmer returns from Haiti, armed with poison and a chilling intent to transform Krogshoej into a zombie. In a dramatic twist, the mystical Mrs. Drusse is knocked by the elusive phantom taxi, setting the stage for an escalation of eerie events. As the hospital's resident spiritualist, she rallies some of the staff to confront these chilling anomalies and lay the restless supernatural forces to rest. Simultaneously, the hospital's dishwashers, the unsung witnesses of this escalating chaos, sense the impending storm. They brace themselves as they feel the hospital's underbelly teeter on the brink of havoc, threatened by the encroaching forces of Evil. As the Kingdom balances precariously on the boundary of science and the supernatural, its occupants find themselves entangled in a web of fear, intrigue, and uncertainty.
