Someday or One Day (2019)

In the crushing aftermath of losing her boyfriend, Chuan-Sheng, in a devastating plane crash, Yu-Hsuan is swept away in a torrent of grief and guilt. Her world, once vibrant and full of love, now feels hollow and cold. However, an unexpected encounter with a mysterious stranger results in her receiving a Walkman, an ordinary object that soon reveals its extraordinary powers. One day, Yu-Hsuan falls asleep on a bus, the melancholic melody of her favorite song playing in her ears from the Walkman. She awakens, not in her own time, but in 1998, her consciousness inhabiting the body of a teenage schoolgirl who bears an uncanny resemblance to her. She soon comes across a boy who is a doppelgänger of her late boyfriend, Chuan-Sheng, further entangling the threads of reality and illusion. Her initial bewilderment gives way to a chilling revelation - this teenager she has become is destined to die on the night of Xiao Nian Ye in 1999. With the clock ticking backward and the sand running out of the hourglass, Yu-Hsuan embarks on a desperate race against time. She dives deeper into the past, seeking clues and peeling off layers of mystery, all in an effort to identify the perpetrator and prevent the impending tragedy from repeating itself.
