Plot

In the gripping TV series "Are You Human?" we are introduced to Nam Shin, the scion of a powerful corporate family, whose life takes a tragic turn when he slips into a coma following an unexpected accident. His mother, Oh Ro Ra, a luminary in the fields of brain science and artificial intelligence, is propelled into a desperate act of love and scientific innovation. She crafts an android, Nam Shin III, a perfect replica of her comatose son, designed to stand in for him in their complex world. As the narrative unfolds, the lines between man and machine blur as the android Nam Shin III starts developing feelings for Kang So Bong, his intrepid bodyguard. This unconventional love story becomes even more entangled when the real Nam Shin begins to regain consciousness, stirring a whirlwind of emotions and ethical dilemmas. As the plot thickens, a looming threat arises in the form of a deadly kill switch, designed to terminate the android's existence. In the midst of this, David, a mysterious figure with his own motives, attempts to sway Oh Ro Ra's decision, promising to care for the android under his wing. Veiled in secrecy, David's involvement with the cunning chairman, the puppet master behind the creation of robot Nam Shin, adds another layer of intrigue. In the shadow of corporate power and cutting-edge science, a love triangle unfolds between a woman, a man, and his doppelgänger. The drama takes you on a thrilling ride, exploring the boundaries of human nature, artificial intelligence, love, and deceit. "Are You Human?" asks a question that is as timeless as it is contemporary, ensuring a viewing experience that will leave you riveted to the edge of your seat.
