In the frosty corridors of their elementary school, a quiet, introverted boy named Li Yu Bing harbors dreams of hockey stardom, honing his exceptional talent in solitude. His peace is continuously disrupted by his desk-mate, Tang Xue, a loud, vivacious girl with her own passion for the ice rink. She takes delight in tormenting him, despite their shared affinity for the cold. Unexpectedly, adulthood reunites them in the hallowed halls of their university where their destinies have diverged sharply. Li Yu Bing now basks in the limelight as the university's celebrated hockey player while Tang Xue's dreams of professional speed skating teeter on the edge of dissolution.
