Plot
Clary Fray's life was perfectly normal until the disappearance of her mom. It's only then that she discovers that she's the last in a line of human and angelic hybrids that keep the mortal world safe from demons and other creatures of the night. But the fact that her mom has been captured by demonic creatures only makes Clary's task as a Shadowhunter that much easier. She'll be joined by three other Shadowhunters and her closest friend. Tracking down her mother means confronting the checkered past of her family line, and she'll have to face down a sinister group known as The Circle.
