Plot
Rubí, a Mexican telenovela, is about a beautiful and charming young woman who captivates many of the students who attend college with her. She lives with her mother and sister in the ghetto and hates her lifestyle, which leads her to reckless behavior in order to escape her upbringing. Rubí becomes friends with a naive rich girl named Maribel de la Fuente, but often betrays and backstabs her in order to get what she wants.
