The L Word (2004)

Jenny is a recent graduate from the University of Chicago who's just moved in with her boyfriend — but a chance meeting with a charming woman named Marina at a party causes Jenny to reconsider everything she thinks about her sexuality. A new group of lesbian friends help her integrate into her new life, but she discovers quickly that questions of gender and sexuality are far from binary. Navigating these new questions is challenging, but she can look to the guidance of Bette and Tina — an older couple who are in the process of trying to adopt their first child.
