In the heart of Memphis, Tennessee, circa 1972, Mac Conway, a jaded Vietnam War veteran, and his confidant Arthur, find their homecoming marred by societal rejection and relentless scrutiny. The war-torn duo, longing to reconnect with their families and restore normalcy, grapples with the harsh reality of unemployment that plagues the returning vets. In this bleak landscape emerges a shadowy figure, known only as The Broker. He navigates the underbelly of society, recruiting individuals for lethal assignments. Sensing an opportunity, he approaches Conway with an offer to join his clandestine operations as a hitman, an offer crafted with such irresistible allure that it's hard to decline. The reluctant Conway is further ensnared when he learns of Arthur's secret acceptance of a similar proposition. Amidst this turmoil, Conway is christened Quarry, marking his induction into a world far removed from the battlegrounds of Vietnam, yet equally dangerous and unforgiving. "Quarry" weaves a tale of post-war disillusionment and survival, where Mac Conway must confront a new kind of war, a war that is fought in the shadows and has no room for heroes, only survivors.
