Plot
Bizarre anomalies called “earthquakes in time” open up portals into the present-day allowing dinosaurs and other dangerous predatory creatures to wreak havoc on the British countryside. A team of specialists headed by Professor Nick Cutter investigates the time distortions. They struggle to confront and kill the deadly monsters that now plague the U.K. forest regions. In the meantime, Professor Cutter is shocked when his dead wife returns after eight years. She was not dead but had slipped into another time period. As the team strives to seal off the time portals, complicated personal and romantic relationships play out among them.
