Poldark (2015)

Poldark is a historical drama about a man who returns to England after fighting in the American Revolutionary War. His father has died, and his fiancé is engaged to his cousin. Everyone thought he was dead, but he still has the rundown property he inherited. This series is about the challenges he faces in 17th-century Cornwall, England, including the economic problems and the effect they have on his tenants. He also seeks justice for the poor. He works to make his land productive and tries to win back his fiancé. However, he meets a new, exciting woman who changes his life.
