Plot
Neil deGrasse Tyson has made it his goal throughout his career to promote an approach to science that anyone can understand, and this series allows him to do so while carrying the torch of his mentor, Carl Sagan. Each episode focuses on a different topic, and the scale of subject matter ranges from the galactic to the microscopic and everywhere in between. No matter what the discussion is, it's always understood in the context of wonder. The use of cutting edge photographic technology allows viewers to look at the natural universe in ways they've never been able to before this.
