Mars (2016)

The story of six astronauts setting out on a journey to set foot on the Mars in 2033 places an emphasis on realism in its science. While the journey from Florida to Mars is largely uneventful, they end up finding their ship malfunctioning as they enter into the Martian atmosphere. Their crew back home can monitor the behavior of the astronauts but have little recourse to do anything meaningful. But each struggle against the elements eventually brings them from survival to subsistence, and each success brings them closer to creating the first fully functioning colony on the surface of Mars.
