Marco Polo (2014)

Marco Polo was merely a spice merchant from Venice, but his quest to create a trade route with the East would change the history of the world forever. His travels to China eventually lead him into the company of Kublai Khan. And where some see a ruthless warlord, Polo uses his strategic acumen and education to become a trusted advisor in Khan's court. But he'll have to deal with the machinations of others within the court and pressures from without. What will eventually become the Silk Road is going to require a lot of negotiation and luck on Marco's behalf.
