After an exhausting and perilous odyssey, our valiant Hero reaches the fortress of the enigmatic Dark Lady, only to be met with an unexpected plea for assistance. The Hero presents a grim tableau of the havoc wrought by the demons' war on humanity, a conflict that has claimed thousands of lives and plunged countless more into despair. Yet, the Demon Queen counters with a provocative argument: this war has, paradoxically, unified the fragmented human societies, bolstered their population, amplified production, supercharged their economy, and advanced their civilization as a whole. Moreover, she forewarns the Hero of the catastrophic civil war that would ensue should this war abruptly end, promising an even grimmer spectacle of slaughter. Struck by her logic, the Hero acquiesces to an improbable alliance with the Dark Lady, realizing that this unexpected partnership may be the only path to a semblance of peace. Their unexpected alliance sets the stage for a tale of strategy, intrigue, and the quest for harmony amidst chaos.
