Kitchen Nightmares (2007)

Just because someone owns a restaurant doesn't mean they know how to do with it. That's the premise of this professional kitchen rehabilitation show from recognizably hot-headed celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. Each episode brings Gordon to a different restaurant in desperate need of help, but he's got a gentler heart than his initially bullying disposition would suggest. His hands-on approach involves working with the staff to create a new menu, evaluating operations from top to bottom, and even providing extensive interior renovations to put small business owners back on the path to success. Whether or not they always want the help is a different issue.
