Talented singers from all over the United States take a shot at winning a recording contract. The contestants are chosen and mentored throughout their journey by a group of professional musicians. Some will showcase their genuine ability from the start, and others will blossom over time. Still others will crumble beneath the ominous pressure of becoming The Voice.
