High Tide (1994)

In the golden haze of California's endless summer, two brothers cast long shadows on the sun-bleached sands, etching a tale of justice, adventure, and brotherhood. Once prized law enforcement officer Mick Barrett, 35, finds solace in the coastal waves and transient comfort of the women who lounge on the beach, his promising career shattered after a fatal shootout claims his partner. A blend of beauty and brains, she assists the Barretts while skillfully deflecting Gordon's advances. Season by season, their lives unfurl with new twists. They run a surf shop, take on jobs from influential figures, and even work for a bail-bondsman, living in the guest house of a senator's widow in exchange for their services. Yet throughout it all, their bond remains unbroken, a golden thread woven through their shared adventures.
