In the aftermath of relentless electrical tempests wreaking havoc across the globe, Bruce Gordon, a resourceful electrical engineer, crafts a device to trace these cataclysms back to their origin. Backed by world powers, he embarks on a perilous expedition to the heart of Africa, where he uncovers the source: the enigmatic Magnetic Mountain.
Unbeknownst to Bruce and his loyal sidekick Jerry, within this mountain dwells a concealed city of advanced technology, ruled by the ruthless scientific sorcerer, Zolok. From the shadows, Zolok manipulates the electrical chaos as a terrifying weapon in his grand design to seize control of the world. In his possession, he holds the brilliant inventor Manyus, his enchanting daughter Natcha, and a formidable army of colossal African slaves commanded by the imposing Appolyn and the cunning dwarf, Gorza.
Caught in this web of intrigue are the opportunistic Reynolds and Colton, conspiring to abduct Manyus in a bid to commandeer Zolok's army. There's also the duplicitous explorer Butterfield, whose loyalties remain dangerously uncertain. Amidst these lethal games of power, will Bruce be able to dodge Zolok's lethal "destroying rays" and thwart his world domination dreams?
