In a time before time, over 8,000 years ago, the Daos civilization, a tapestry of intricately woven tribes, thrived in the heart of Southern China. This empire was a mosaic of three tribes: the noble Dai, the enigmatic Shura—progenitors of modern humanity—and the mysterious Gorma. They coexisted peacefully in a harmonious symphony until the Gorma, in a thirst for dominance, shattered the tranquil melody. This uncaged a war that raged for 5,000 years, with the Gorma Triumvirate at the helm. In this ancient battlefield, the Mythical Chi Beasts emerged from the shadows. These majestic creatures were the counterbalance against the Gorma, whose magical prowess had evolved into monstrous proportions. Rising from the Dai tribe, five warriors harnessed chi powers so immense, they could command the Mythical Chi Beasts. The war, however, left no victors, only silence, and the once thriving tribes of Dai and Gorma dissolved into the annals of history. Flash forward to 1993, the Gorma Tribe, an echo from the Daos' forgotten past, reawakened with an insatiable hunger to conquer the world. In the face of impending doom, Master Kaku, a sage with wisdom as deep as the sea, assembled a quintet of young individuals. These youths, brimming with potent levels of chi, became the beacon of hope—the Dairangers. Their journey, however, was not without its trials. Tested by the Key Jester and beset by their own internal struggles, their faith in each other wavered. Master Kaku, recognizing the chinks in their armor, thrust them into a crucial history lesson. A journey into the past, uncovering the rise and fall of the Gorma, and the devastating consequences of their failure. This was not just a lesson, but a warning and a reminder of the grave responsibility they bore as Dairangers—the guardians of present time.
