In the heart of the narrative of Diyar-e-Dil lies the patriarch Agha Jan and the diverging paths of his two sons, Behroze and Suhaib. From a young age, Behroze has been betrothed to Arjumand, Agha Jan's niece, a bond he rejects in favor of his middle-class classmate, Ruhina. The fallout of this choice leads to a crossroads: either abide by his father's wishes or abandon his familial home. Choosing love over obligation, Behroze departs, leaving a void that Agha Jan seeks to fill with Suhaib, who harbors his own affections for Laila. Agha Jan's relentless resolve propels Arjumand into a reluctant marriage with Suhaib, a man she regards as a brother, while Behroze finds solace in his union with Ruhina. As the years unfold, the birth of Faarah to Ruhina and Behroze, and Wali and Zarmeena to Arjumand and Suhaib, add new layers to the family tapestry. The arrival of Wali forms a bridge of love between Arjumand and Suhaib, transforming their reluctant bond into a heartfelt connection. However, the sands of time bring unforeseen changes. Suhaib's untimely death two decades later prompts Behroze to return to the mansion he once deserted, determined to honor his brother's final wish: the betrothal of their children.
