Plot
This is a fantasy drama that is loosely based on Arthurian legend. Nimue and Arthur join to search for Merlin to return an ancient sword given to Nimue by her mother before she was killed by the Red Paladins. Their journey takes them through many challenges including fighting the Red Paladins and their King Uther. This is a group of religious zealots who are determined to slaughter whole villages that don’t bow to them. The series is considered a coming-of-age drama as the two overcome religious terror, defilement of the natural world and senseless war to achieve what seems impossible.
