Plot

At the tender age of twenty-six, Auburn Reed has faced more loss than most do in a lifetime. As she endeavours to reconstruct her crumbled world, she focuses keenly on her objectives, allowing no room for error. Yet, her life takes an unexpected turn when she steps into an art studio in the heart of Los Angeles, in a desperate search for a job. There, she encounters the enigmatic and gifted artist, Owen Gentry, whose allure draws her in like a moth to a flame. In this unpredictable dance of life, Auburn decides to let her heart lead the way, only to find Owen shrouding a colossal secret that threatens to rupture the very fabric of her existence. The gravity of his concealed past poses a danger not only to Auburn's carefully rebuilt life, but also to the precious custody battle for her only son. As their romance blossoms amidst the chaos, the secrets they both harbour start to strangle their blossoming bond. Auburn and Owen soon find themselves at the precipice of a tough decision: to reveal their haunted pasts or risk a future that could hold the promise of love and redemption. The only lifeline that could salvage their relationship is Owen's confession. Yet, this confession holds the destructive power to be more lethal than the sin it conceals. Within the vibrant palette of Owen's art studio, a love story unfolds - a story tainted by secrets, coloured by loss, and shaded by the struggle for redemption. A story that hinges on a simple act: confess. But in their world, a confession could be the brushstroke that paints a future or blots it out entirely.
