"Começar de Novo" weaves an epic love story set against the contrasting backdrops of Brazil's bustling Ouro Negro and the icy expanse of Russia. The tale revolves around the lives of Miguel Arcanjo, scion of affluent Russian immigrants, and Letícia, the cherished daughter of the formidable Lucrécia Borges. As their love blossoms, Lucrécia's disdain for Miguel's emerging success transforms into an insidious plot to sever the lovers' bond. Fleeing the clutches of Lucrécia's vengeful schemes, the young couple is ambushed. Letícia is kidnapped, and Miguel is left brutally wounded, his memory wiped clean by the trauma. Unbeknownst to Miguel, his parents meet an untimely end in their desperate search for their injured son. Miguel's salvation arrives in the form of Ivan, a family friend, who takes him to Russia, rebrands him as Andrei Ivanovich, and shields him from his turbulent past.
