In a daring attempt to pioneer a groundbreaking global defense system, Dr. Jane Whitlow boldly bombards the sun with a prodigious pulse, intending to harness its immense solar power to safeguard the Earth from looming celestial catastrophes. Her ambitious experiment, initially envisioned as a protective shield, triggers an onslaught of destructive solar flares, plunging the world into an unparalleled state of chaos and catastrophe. Dr. Michael Ranger, a brilliant scientist marginalized and dismissed from the project due to an unfortunate disgrace, finds himself reluctantly drawn back into the fray.
