Plot
Ciel Phantomhive is an Earl in London, but the 10-year old boy is also an orphan after an attack on his home by a mysterious threat. Poor Ciel ends up in the hands of a demon-worshipping cult, but strange circumstances lead him into a contract with a demon. The demon will assist Ciel on his path to get vengeance for his family, and he will in return own Ciel's soul. This new demonic assistant appears as a meticulous butler, and Ciel settles into a new rule as a watchdog to Queen Victoria while he secretly tracks down his family's killers.
