Plot

Set amid the craggy slopes of Klitsa Mountain and the ethereal beauty of Vancouver Island, the reality show 'Big Timber' chronicles the adrenaline-filled life of Kevin Wenstob, a tenacious logger and sawmill owner. This History channel gem uncovers the perils and extremities of timber logging as Kevin, his family, and his indomitable crew risk everything to safeguard their sawmill and their heritage. The promise of a thousand truckloads of the world's finest timber teeters high on the mountain's peak, like a precarious bet against nature. Kevin's initial challenge is to haul 200 truckloads down the treacherous mountain path before winter's icy grip halts his progress. However, the mountain, personifying the indomitable spirit of nature, doesn't succumb without a struggle. As winter draws near, Kevin is hit with a daunting ultimatum: clear his entire claim of a thousand loads once spring arrives, or face crippling penalties worth millions. The stakes are high, the pressure is immense, but with the unwavering support of his wife Sarah, son Erik, and right-hand man Coleman, Kevin is determined to conquer the mountain and secure the big timber. 'Big Timber' is a tale of perseverance, family bonds, and the relentless pursuit of a dream, set against the backdrop of stunningly wild landscapes. The show brings to life the arduous journey and the high-risk world of timber logging, where every day is a battle against time, nature, and the impending doom of failure.
