Battlestar Galactica (1978)

The Twelve Colonies of Mankind were on the eve of a peace treaty with the Cylon Empire only to be betrayed by the Cylons and have their fleet decimated. It comes down to Commander Armada to steer the battleship Galactica to safety along with an armada of the last remaining humans. They're on the run from the substantial Cylon fleet, but there's a distance flicker of hope in the form of a mythical lost thirteenth colony. Along the way, they encounter worlds and civilizations they never knew existed in the hope for a place where they can find refuge from war.
