Atlantis (2013)

This series is inspired by Greek mythology and the legend of Atlantis. It is a British adventure fantasy about Jason and his arrival at the mysterious ancient city of Atlantis. The series takes place in modern times when Jason is searching for his missing father in a submarine. As the engines begin to fail, Jason is pulled into a white light and becomes unconscious. He becomes conscious on the beach of Atlantis, which is governed by King Minos and his ruthless wife Queen Pasiphae. Jason is taken in by Pythagoras, a youngster fascinated by triangles and an old wrestler, Hercules.

Atlantis is an action show featuring Mark Addy and created by Howard Overman.
