In the tumultuous year of 1985, under the reign of the Reagans and in the shadow of the A.I.D.S. epidemic, Heaven is abandoned by God. The bustling streets of Manhattan serve as the backdrop for a tale of fear, guilt, and redemption. Prior Walter, portrayed by Justin Kirk, reveals his fatal illness to his long-term lover, Louis, played by Ben Shenkman, only to be left in his time of need. With the aid of Pitt's mother and Belize, a dear friend portrayed by Jeffrey Wright, Prior must navigate his path.
