In the heart of Academy City thrives Accelerator, recognized as the most formidable psychic, one of the rare few with the potential to ascend to level 6. His current existence, however, is a stark contrast to the chaos of his past, as he now seeks tranquility and healing from his past wounds. But tranquility proves elusive when a renegade faction within Anti-Skill, known as DA, wreaks havoc in the city. DA, a group maddeningly devoted to their warped sense of justice, resorts to human kidnapping and experimentation to assert their control. This disruption, much to Accelerator's chagrin, is powerful enough to shake him out of his peaceful existence. The situation escalates when The Last Order, for reasons yet unknown, becomes the target of DA's sinister plans. Now, the responsibility of protecting both The Last Order and the city falls squarely on Accelerator's shoulders. Despite his disdain for disturbances, he must rise to confront DA's zealous fanatics. The future of Academy City and The Last Order now hinge on Accelerator's determination to quash this impending threat.
