Every episode of this action-thriller drama takes place in an hour of real time, with each season documenting a chaotic day in the life of counter-terrorism agent Jack Bauer. Bauer has a wife and a daughter, but he has a tendency of putting his job above his family. That's not going to be possible anymore, because Jack's actions are just as likely to draw his family into the action as ever. Whether he's dealing with an attempted presidential assassination or a major terrorist attack on American soil, things are never as simple as they initially seem — and Jack will have to weigh some major ethical decisions.
