In the heart of a bubbling seismic nightmare, a catastrophic 10.5-magnitude earthquake shreds the tranquillity of the West Coast, threatening to morph the American landscape into a desolate wasteland. Enter Dr. Samantha Hill, a brilliant seismologist who perceives the larger threat that looms ahead.
