Plot

Dave Harmon, a U.S. Marshall with a reputation for resilience, is dispatched to the lawless territory of Yuma by the governor. Yuma, a place where lawmen are seen as intruders, has seen a slew of marshals chased away. But Harmon isn't one to be easily daunted. Upon his arrival, Harmon's sense of justice immediately kicks in when he encounters two unruly drunks. One of the men draws a gun, leaving Harmon with no choice but to retaliate, resulting in the man's death. Little does he know, the man he killed is the brother of Arch King, a man of immense power who acknowledges only his own law. The plot thickens when someone frees the other drunk from jail, only to murder him with Harmon's gun. Coincidentally, this man is also a brother of Arch King. The town is quick to point fingers at Harmon, but a Mexican boy who witnessed the event tells a different story - it was two men, one of whom was a soldier. King, thirsty for vengeance, confronts Harmon. He gives him an ultimatum - prove his innocence or face King's own brand of justice. Harmon, determined to uncover the truth, rides to the nearby army fort. His past, stained with the tragic death of his family, believed to be at the hands of soldiers, haunts him. Now, he finds himself once again in the shadow of an army base, ready to confront the echoes of his past and the immediate threat in his present.
