In the mystifying realm of Patria, a Latin-American nation shimmering with intrigue, we find Johnny Riggs, a crafty conman on the run. He stumbles upon a scene that piques his interest: a sheltered heiress, raised within the solemn walls of a convent, imploring her celestial guardian for guidance in her convoluted financial affairs.
